Sunday Shares #29
For the last few months, life got really busy on the weekends, which took time away from writing these posts. I’m hoping to change that, as I miss the moments of reflection.
Here’s some other things that made me think last week:
We Need to Talk About Trader Joe’s
A really interesting article about the ethics of private brands, and how Trader Joe’s has been known in the food industry for behaving badly. It’s disappointing for sure — especially when a lot of independent type designers have seen their fonts used on their branded products and they hire lettering artists to as sign artists for each of their stores.
Soft Type
A series of fonts designed for knitting color-work by Sarah Cadigan-Fried.
Dear Gen Z
We are proud of you!
Homemade stickers for Gaza
Really powerful image by Mazen Kerbaj.
How I Overcame Burnout and Actively Manage It Now
Not going to lie, I’m overwhelmed reading this list simply because she shares a lot of information.
Mos Eisley Cantina
Really love this Star Wars poster by Patrick Concepción.
